The Best Crypto Wallet – Forbes Advisor - Forbes

Image
Bitcoin remains the top cryptocurrency by market capitalization. Whatever the vicissitudes of the crypto market, investors remain committed to Bitcoin as both a buy-and-hold asset and as a means of exchange. Like other cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin requires a crypto wallet for storage. Most of the leading crypto wallets—hot or cold—support BTC. There are a few specialized wallets that do not support Bitcoin. MetaMask, for instance, doesn't directly support Bitcoin, but that's because the wallet is specifically designed for Ethereum-based crypto tokens. Other wallets may have a few quirks. Coinbase Wallet Web3 only supports Bitcoin via its mobile app, for example. Conversely, some crypto wallets are solely dedicated to the big "B." Electrum only supports Bitcoin. If that's going to be the only crypto you own, Electrum could be a great choice. It's never experienced a hack, plus it integrates with Ledger and Trezor. Here are some leading crypto wallets that ...

New version of OANDA fxTrade mobile app enables partial closing of trades - FinanceFeeds

Image
The latest version of the solution allows traders to partially close any of their open trades. Online trading services provider OANDA has rolled out a new version of the OANDA fxTrade mobile app. The new version of the solution adds a "partial close" functionality. That is, traders can now partially close any of their open trades. To do that, they have to tap the reduce button on any open trade and specify how many units to partially close it by. Let's note that U.S. customers must still follow the FIFO rules. First in First Out (FIFO) is an FX trading requirement that complies with the United States National Futures Association (NFA) regulation. It is a requirement that the first (or oldest) trade must be closed first if a customer has more than one open trade of the same pair and size. In the summer of 2019, OANDA implemented changes concerning FIFO that require all trades that have a take profit (TP), stop loss (SL), or trailing stop (TS) to be of unique size....

Signum (SIGNA)—Formerly Burstcoin (BURST) Definition - Investopedia

Image
What Is Signum (SIGNA)? Signum (SIGNA), formerly known as Burstcoin (BURST), is a cryptocurrency that is designed to be highly energy-efficient and a model for green mining. Signum/Burstcoin's blockchain operates using a proof-of-capacity (PoC) algorithm, which uses a mining device's available disk space instead of following other energy-intensive mining methodologies. Burstcoin was the first coin to use the PoC algorithm and utilizes the empty space on a miner's hard drive for mining. Other cryptocurrencies that use PoC are Storj, Chia, and SpaceMint. The mining process for most virtual currencies requires specialized, expensive, energy-intensive machines; for Signum/Burstcoin, participants only need to have a regular hard drive. In fact, participants can even mine on Android phones. Since the entry into Signum/Burstcoin mining is so easy, the technology is more decentralized than other cryptocurrencies. For example, bitcoin requires a huge...
